[qed3 logo] performance: getting more of it [ppp logo]

[IMAGE: picture] We believe that there are four key elements to the business performance equation: strategy; assets; systems; and PEOPLE - the most essential element of all. Each of the four elements is interconnected, the unique interaction of which produces your results (financial and other).

Performance culture: the interaction of the four elements that creates the culture of the business - it's personality. "The way it is around here." The rules, both spoken or not, that guide decision-making processes and other interactions between people. It directly impacts upon the type, size and longevity of the business' results.

Your performance culture is what makes your business different (or indeed similar) to your competitors and others.

It's your people that make your business work. Collectively, they determine how the strategies, the assets and the systems will function together to produce results. You can have the best assets, great systems, brilliant strategies and still have a sub-optimal performance culture.

What would a 'blueprint' of the performance culture of your business look like?

When introducing any change to the workplace, it is critical that both the technical aspects and the people aspects of the transition are addressed for a successful outcome. If not, the business runs the real risk of wasting (significant) resources, AND, even with the best of intentions, the performance culture may be damaged in the process. Such damage will directly impact upon the future results. People don't resist change: they resist how change is implemented.
